Opening an Account

How to open the Diaspora account:

First go through our e-brochure and select the account you wish, then follow the steps below:

• Click here to fill in form online
• Click here to download email indemnity form (This form allows you to send instructions to the bank via email or telephone)
• Click here to download Chase Direct Banking form (This form allows you to access your account online )
• Print, complete form and attach documentation
• Visit nearest notary to get documentation certified.
• Send completed form and documents to diaspora@chasebank.co.ke or courier physical documents to the address below:

• Send e-mail to diaspora@chasebank.co.ke to notify that the documents have been sent.
• Wait for e-mail with your account information.
• Transfer minimum account opening balance and start enjoying stress free banking.

Account Opening Checklist

• Completed Account Opening document
• Completed e-mail/fax indemnity
• Two coloured Passport Size Photos
• Copy of Kenyan ID/Valid Kenya Passport
• Copy of utility bill/ payslip(Foreign Phone /Water bill payemnt statements, Foreign Banks account statements, Mortgage statements or letter from employer)
•  PIN Number copy by KRA(This can be SELF-GENERATED on below KRA website online)
