The Fixed or Call Deposit Account is designed to cater to the needs of clients who may want to deposit their money in an interest earning account for a specific period.

Chase Bank offers competitive interest rates for any surplus funds deposited in a Fixed Deposit Account, for both short and long term tenors.

Fixed Deposit Accounts

  • The Fixed Deposit Account is designed to cater to the needs of Clients who may want to deposit their money in an interest earning account for a specific period.
  • The Fixed Deposit Accounts are usually for a longer period i.e. over a month/ 30 days

Account Features

  • Minimum Deposit Kshs. 100,000
  • Minimum Tenor 30 Days
  • Interest Rate This is determined by the amount deposited into the Account by the Client
  • Assigned business Advisor to assist the Client.
  • Real Time Gross Settlement services available to this account.
  • The Client can use the Funds in this account to apply for a credit facility. However the Client will still be expected to follow the correct credit procedures.

Call Deposit Accounts

  • The Call Deposit Account is designed to cater to the needs of Clients who may want to deposit their money in an interest earning account for a short period.
  • The Call Deposit Accounts are usually for a Short period i.e. a tenor of 7 days
  • After 7 days the Client is free to withdraw all his funds from the account at any time

Account Features

  • Minimum Deposit Kshs. 100,000
  • Minimum Tenor 7 Days
  • Assigned business advisor to assist the Client.
  • Real Time Gross Settlement services available to this account.
  • However should the need arise; the client is free to leave the funds in this account for as long as they so wish.
